SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning:

This section covers topics like analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, spatial orientation, decision-making, analysis, discrimination, visual memory, arithmetical reasoning, coding-decoding, syllogistic reasoning, and more. 

  • General Awareness:

This includes knowledge of current events, India and its neighboring countries (history, culture, geography, economic scene, etc.), general science, books and authors, sports, important schemes, important days, and static GK. 

  • Quantitative Aptitude:

This section focuses on topics like number systems, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, and statistics. 

  • English Comprehension:

This section assesses the candidate’s understanding of English language and comprehension, including reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, and other related topics.
